David Bacon joined Halocarbon as CEO in 2015. His vision was/is to build the New Halocarbon and position it as the strategic growth partner for innovation in specialty fluorochemistry. David has ~20 years of experience leading businesses in general manager roles where he consistently improved operations and profitability. Prior to Halocarbon, he served as President of LSP Products Group (a division of NCH Corporation) and as General Manager of AT Plastics (the EVA division of Celanese Corporation). Prior to his general management roles, David was a management consultant for McKinsey & Company. He began his professional career as a chemical engineer at Exxon Corporation.

Derek Brown

Derek Brown comes to Halocarbon with many years of supply chain leadership experience with companies including INVISTA, LSP Products/NCH Corporation and Celanese Corporation. Derek’s career began in production and operations, but for more than 16 years, Derek has held management roles with increasing responsibility in the area of supply chain, including inventory management, purchasing and customer service.
In his role as part of Halocarbon’s leadership team, Derek is responsible for developing strategies that drive continuous improvement in customer service, procurement, warehousing and distribution, and inventory management.

Kevin Hyman

Kevin Hyman joined Halocarbon in 2014 as Halocarbon’s first HR Director and a member of the Senior Leadership Team. Kevin has over 25 years of progressive domestic and international Human Resources experience in the textile and chemical industries with companies such as Milliken, UCB Chemicals, Cytec Industries, and PostashCorp (Nutrien).
In his role as HR Director, Kevin is responsible for developing and leading Halocarbon’s overall human resources strategy, HR services, talent acquisition, organizational development, company culture, compensation, benefits, HR operations and technology, and employee relations in accordance with the company’s core values, strategic direction, ethics, and governmental regulations. He is an active member of the business and human resources community, serving on boards and councils of economic development, workforce development, chambers of commerce, youth leadership development and local educational institutions.

Bill McCormick

Bill joined Halocarbon Electronics Solutions in January 2019 as Director of Sales, managing the semiconductor, lithium-ion batteries, and polyimide portfolios. Bill also successfully orchestrated and is responsible for the creation of Halocarbon’s first international subsidiary, Halocarbon GK, based in Osaka, Japan. In his current role as Vice President of Sales, Bill is charged with elevating strategic customer relationships to new heights for all of Halocarbon’s business segments: Engineered Fluids, Life Sciences and Electronic Solutions. Furthermore, Bill will facilitate the commercialization of new innovative fluorocarbon technologies serving Halocarbon’s focused markets and ensuring Halocarbon’s leading-edge technology is delivering on the customer’s unmet needs. Bill comes to Halocarbon with over 20 years of commercial leadership experience. Much of his career was developed with BASF Chemical Company, spearheading commercial execution for the industrial coatings, fiber bonding, adhesives, and hygiene industries. Prior to joining Halocarbon, Bill worked for Pall Corporation serving as Global Account Manager for the chemical industry. With his broad global experience, Bill will continue to position Halocarbon for international growth by building strategic partnerships around the globe.

Plant Director
David Price

David Price joined Halocarbon in May of 2023 as Site Director, responsible for driving improvement in all facets of safety, quality, and production for the manufacturing site.
Before Halocarbon, David most recently was a Director of Manufacturing for Lignetics wood fiber manufacturing and worked 22 years between Honeywell and Arekema in various engineering, operations, and plant management roles. His background in Six Sigma (Six Sigma Blackbelt) and Lean have been instrumental in driving improvement throughout 30 years of chemical manufacturing leadership.

Sidd Shenoy

Siddhartha (Sidd) Shenoy was appointed Vice President of Halocarbon, LLC in 2022. In this role, Sidd has P&L responsibilities and will lead the execution of Halocarbon’s growth plans. This includes the management and growth of strategic business partnerships and the development and commercialization of new products and services.
Sidd joined Halocarbon in 2016 as the Director of Strategic Marketing, where he helped design the Halocarbon corporate-level strategy and its current business segment architecture. Sidd assumed the role of Director of strategy and Innovation in 2018, where he designed and implemented new strategic growth initiatives across Halocarbon’s Electronics Solutions and Engineered Fluids business segments.
Prior to joining the Halocarbon Leadership Team, Sidd worked at E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company, where he held multiple business and technical leadership roles that served markets and applications ranging from fluorinated coatings, electronics materials, and industrial biotechnology.

Steve Stoeffler, CPA

Steve Stoeffler joined Halocarbon in November 2021 as Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for the company’s financial functions and information technology.
Prior to joining Halocarbon, Steve was CFO for seven years at a high-growth, middle-market manufacturing company, VP of Finance at a large telecommunication company and over six years at Ernst & Young in Corporate Finance and Audit. He has over 30 years of experience in Finance, SEC Reporting, Accounting, Treasury, M&A, System Implementation, Contracts, and Human Resources.

Dave Antonuccio
Dave joined Halocarbon in October 2021 as Business Development Director. Dave is responsible for strengthening Halocarbon’s established strategic customer relationships and introducing novel technologies into new markets and application spaces where Halocarbon’s leading-edge technology can address unmet needs of today and into the future. Dave comes to Halocarbon with over 25 years of commercial leadership experience. Much of his career was developed with BASF Chemical Company, where he most recently managed the Paper Coatings and Hygiene Products businesses. Prior to those roles, he led the Go-To Market team for the hygiene business in Germany and the remaining years in various locations in global key account management, procurement, operations, R&D and technical service for their Catalyst business.

Belinda Edwards
Belinda joined the Halocarbon Team in 2015 as a consultant in preparation for the launch of a more robust Customer Resource Management system. Prior to that Belinda spent 14 years as a consultant in project management and business development with NScope Project Management. During her tenure with NScope she was responsible for working with customers from private and federal entities, on technology-based projects. Preceding NScope, Belinda spent several years in IT Project Management at the Weather Channel; perfecting skills in internal and external customer relations, as well as managing high performance teams. In the earlier years of Belinda’s career she served on the project management team for Attachmate Corporation as well as in account management/leadership in other technology-based firms.

Principal Investigator
Neville Pavri
Neville Pavri, Ph.D. is a Principal Investigator at Halocarbon Electronics Solutions. In this role, he is the technical lead for Halocarbon’s electronic solutions segment which includes electrolyte additives and co-solvents for lithium ion batteries. He is currently using structure-activity relationship principles for the development and commercialization of fluorinated compounds that improve the safety and performance of the electrolyte in Lithium Ion Batteries. He has a B.S. in Chemistry from the State University of New York-Albany and a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the University of New Orleans in natural product synthesis.

Hiroshi Tsukamura
Managing Director of Halocarbon GK
Hiroshi joined the Halocarbon team in August 2021 as Managing Director of Halocarbon GK, headquartered in Osaka, Japan. Halocarbon GK is Halocarbon’s first international subsidiary focused on expanding the business in Asia.
Hiroshi is responsible for the establishment of strategic customer relationships and for promoting Halocarbon’s technology to the Asian market. Hiroshi brings more than 30 years of business experience in the fluorinated chemical market, where he successfully created multiple businesses by developing new applications using specialty fluorinated products.
Most of his career was developed with Daikin, creating and managing new businesses for intermediates, fluorinated oils, coatings and specialty gases. With his “Getting Close to Customers” experience, Hiroshi will be a good and reliable partner for all customers in Asia.
