Customer Service Representative

Halocarbon, a world leading producer of specialty fluorochemicals is seeking candidates for an excellent opportunity as Customer Service Representative I in our Peachtree Corners, GA location. Halocarbon seeks individuals who embrace Halocarbon’s core values of:

Successful candidates must possess, as a minimum, the following competencies, skills and/or abilities:

Follow-up and support both internal and external customers; assuring their requests are being met.
Cover desk for core business hours of 8:00 am – 4:30 pm to include in-office or at home/virtual office.
Achieve primary goals, i.e. accurate order entry, on-time delivery shipping goals, etc.
Address customer issues/opportunities in a timely manner.
Timely entry of purchase orders (within 24 hours; exceptions for pricing, packaging or address issues).
100% Order Acknowledgment within 24 hours of order entry.
Provide timely communication of issues and actively participate in providing resolutions.
Help establish and follow guidelines to ensure process excellence and value creation.
Be willing to engage in personal development and team training initiatives.
Excellent customer service, decision-making, time-management, organization and people skills are required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to meet goals and deadlines.
Have a sense of urgency to resolve problems while prioritizing the workload.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Four-year degree required. Business Administration with emphasis in international trade preferred. 3+ years of experience in a Customer Service role/function with a manufacturing company is preferred. Background/experience working for a chemical manufacturing company is a plus. All candidates must successfully complete extensive third-party reference checks, a criminal background investigation, a comprehensive medical examination & drug screen.
