Engineering Document Administrator

(20 – 25 hours per week)

 

Halocarbon, a world-leading producer of specialty fluorochemicals, is seeking candidates for an excellent opportunity as an Engineering Document Administrator in our North Augusta, S.C. site. Halocarbon seeks individuals who embrace Halocarbon’s core values of:

Successful candidates must possess, as a minimum, the following competencies, skills and/or abilities: 

  • Possess strong safety and environmental values.
  • Directly support the Production, Maintenance, and Quality departments as a representative of the engineering department.
  • Utilizing basic AutoCAD 2D skills; technician may assist engineering with drafting, evaluation and/or completion of existing drafts.
  • Manage, update, and distribute P&IDs throughout the plant as updates occur.
  • Plan and create reports, equipment folders and associated support documentation for new projects or products.
  • Research and assemble a variety of engineering data, forms or spreadsheets from existing data, manuals, reports, etc., based upon instructions from the Engineering Manager or Engineer.
  • Involvement with MOCs (management of change), including revisions and corrections to redline drawing reviews.
  • Support mechanical integrity program, thickness readings and documentation.
  • Work in team environment.

  • Strong organization and time management skills.

Must have High School Diploma, General Education Development (GED) or equivalent. Associates or BS degree preferred. Computer knowledge is required, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. General knowledge of cGMP. All candidates must successfully complete extensive third-party reference checks, a criminal background investigation, a comprehensive medical examination and drug screen.
