RIVER EDGE, N.J. – April 15, 2015 – Halocarbon, a leading worldwide producer of specialty fluorochemicals and inhalation anesthetics, today announced that David Bacon will be joining the company as its new chief executive officer, effective April 28, 2015.
Bacon, 46, joins Halocarbon with more than 24 years of experience in market analysis and driving innovation. As Halocarbon’s new CEO, Bacon’s top priorities will be leading the next phase of the company’s growth and product innovation.

Bacon most recently served as President of LSP Products Group, where he led the commercial transformation of the business, doubling the company’s revenue and significantly improving operating income. Prior to his role at LSP, he was General Manager for the AT Plastics business at Celanese Corporation, where he successfully grew and improved the profitability of the specialty polymers business. Bacon also worked as a management consultant for McKinsey & Company, working with Fortune 500 companies to improve resource productivity. He began his professional career at Exxon Corporation, where he held roles of increasing responsibility in process and refinery engineering. Bacon holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, magna cum laude from the University of Arkansas.
