ATLANTA – May 29, 2016 – Halocarbon, a leading worldwide producer of specialty fluorochemicals, inhalation anesthetics, and inert lubricants, today announced the hiring of industry veteran: Dr. Siddhartha Shenoy as Director of Strategic Marketing.

Sidd Shenoy will join the Halocarbon team at Chemspec Europe 2016, the international exhibition for fine and specialty chemicals, at stand C71 in Basel Messe, Switzerland June 1-2.
Shenoy joins Halocarbon with 15+ years of experience in research, innovation and marketing and sales of chemical products. As Halocarbon’s Director of Strategic Marketing, Shenoy’s top priorities will be market analysis and new product development to anticipate and meet industry demands.
Shenoy most recently served as Global Product Marketing Manager for DuPont Industrial Biosciences, where he led the execution of a global market expansion strategy for an enzymes portfolio that serves industrial applications in the areas of healthcare, hospitality, and food/beverage processing. He’s also held a number of other roles at DuPont including business development manager for new enzyme-driven oral care products as well as corporate business consultant in marketing and sales, where he generated a long-term product portfolio strategy in agriculture and nutrition. He started his career as a research chemist.
Shenoy holds a B.S. in Chemistry with specialization in biochemistry from the University of Virginia; a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of California, Irvine; a Skaggs Postdoctoral Fellow from The Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, Calif.; and he is expected to graduate in June 2016 with an Executive M.B.A. from the Drexel University LeBow College of Business in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He holds many patents including several relating to fluorinated copolymers.
